Machine Gun Kelly Shoots Down Beef Rumors With Yelawolf

During The Shady Records crew cypher during this year’s BET Hip-Hop Awards, Alabama rapper Yelawolf's most memorable line was “plenty of white boys to pick from this year/but before you pick a pepper you better pick up your heater.” The lines doesn't sound like it was directed at anyone specific but Machine Gun Kelly made an appearance on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club show and alluded to the fact that he thought it was aimed at him, even though Yela did not mention any names.
Yesterday on Bootleg Kev, Billy Catfish fires back at the Bad Boy’s new signee. “He’s being sensitive. He thinks I’m talking about him,” says Yelawolf. “The best thing that he could do is if he has a problem or if he has something he needs to say to me, just say my name, dog. This is hip-hop, if you got something you want to rap about, just rap about it.”
MGK is not backing down from what he said but thinks his words were taken out of context.
“I think people just took it the wrong way we never had a chance to speak.” He reveals to Ben Parker Production, “I’m 21 years old, I’m just trying to mature and unfortunately in an industry that doesn’t want to give you a chance, they just want to tear you down.”
Sounds like MGK doesn’t want it with Yela but this riff could have created some great records. --Brittny Pierre
